Hasnain Abubakr

I'm a Chemistry teacher with a BSc (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kingston University London and 13 years of experience across pharmaceutical R&D and education. Alongside my current school teaching role, I run Knightsbridge Learning, an online tutoring practice where I've been working with A-Level students in the UAE, Bahrain and the UK for the past several years.

What makes my teaching a little different is where I came from before the classroom. Having worked in pharmaceutical R&D and run my own healthcare company, Chemistry was never just a subject for me. That background means I can answer the "but why does this matter?" question with real examples, and students tend to find that genuinely useful rather than just interesting.

Results wise, I've maintained a 100% pass rate across 30+ students since 2021, with 90% gaining at least one full grade jump. I'm experienced across AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge A-Level Chemistry and I'm well used to working with UK students online across different time zones.
