I believe learning doesn’t happen unless the student is truly interested. I’m ready to make sure you get fulfilling lessons that will make you look forward to tutoring time rather than dread it every day. I will set up lesson plans, notes, and schedules and make sure we are working on subjects and topics that you are the least familiar with, to boost your understanding of those specifically, while also of course strengthening the foundations of topics you already understand. I will also help you manage your independent studying by helping create study plans and flashcards, creating good habits and preparing you for independence during sixth form, college, or university. Our lessons will be casual yet productive, and I’ll make sure to teach you everything I know. I am happy to share many study techniques and exam tips that have been passed down to me from my previous tutor. I will observe your learning and give feedback after every lesson to both the student and parents.
Every lesson will begin with me asking what you would like to learn or what you’ve been struggling with, I will then go through it thoroughly with you, first explaining the topic and then giving you some practice questions which I can help with.
I believe I can truly help you do the best you possibly can in your studies. And I hope our tutoring sessions will make you come to love learning as I have.
