Mrs. Holroyd was my A Level Biology teacher and played a key role in helping me secure a place at Imperial to study Biomedical Sciences. She is by far the best teacher I’ve had; exceptionally knowledgeable and truly committed to her students’ success.
What set her apart was her ability to explain complex biological concepts in a clear, structured way that actually stuck. She provided tailored exam questions and prep that mirrored the style and difficulty of real A Level exams, which made revision much more effective. Her feedback was always detailed and actionable, helping me improve my exam technique and understand where I was losing marks.
She consistently went the extra mile, whether it was running extra sessions before exams, reviewing practice papers one-on-one, or answering questions outside of class.
