Hello! My name is Amné. I have 7 years experience in tutoring with a flexible teaching style. I adapt to the way your style of learning to ensure you get the most out of your tutoring lessons. I am flexible in teaching hours and available even during the weekends or whenever you may need to help and support you to get to the level you wish. I have taught students from KS2 through to A-levels and IB in a broad range of subjects ranging from Science to Languages. I am passionate about making sure each student is given time to reach their maximum potential. Patience, encouragement, good communication skills, planning and good listening skills are all vital characteristics in tutoring and I like to believe after years of experience I possess all these qualities and more. Lessons will be planned in advance so that you could get the most out of them. My usual lesson structure involves the first 10-15 minutes utilised as a refresher before we commence the topic you want to study and then end with questions which you’ll work through and we answer together. I have in depth knowledge of what is expected of students for exams for most exam boards, AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I can guide you in scoring the highest possible grades based on what examiners look for. I have 5 years previous tutoring experience, working both in person and online. I started working as an online tutor during COVID carrying out sessions via Zoom and Teams for students ranging from Year 6 to Year 13.
