I achieved an A* in my A Level chemistry exam and an A in my A-Level Biology exam so can offer the same tips that got me those grades. I hold a coaching qualification for swimming and although the subjects are very different, this means I’m used to helping people achieve their best. My lessons will be structured around whatever my student needs. If presented with an exam or homework the student struggled with, I can give an in depth work through of the questions. Similarly, I can take a guided look at past papers. I have a wealth of knowledge of where to find good practice questions and also have lots of resources from my own experience. I feel I will be best at coaching exam technique but can also help with other aspects of understanding. Where possible, I will also try to incorporate some information from the wider world of chemistry, biology and biochemistry to give students an idea for further study and careers. In addition to my scientific interests, I scored highly in and am very interested in Geography and History so would be comfortable tutoring in these subjects to GCSE level.
