In my History lessons, I focus on neuroscience-based learning, which means understanding how the brain learns best. I don’t want my students to simply memorize dates or names. Instead, I help them grasp the meaning and context behind every event, because when you understand the concept, everything else follows naturally. My goal is to make learning History both logical and memorable.
I also believe that History should never be taught in fragments. Each topic we study is presented as part of a woven web of ideas that connect people, cultures, and events across time. This helps students see the bigger picture and understand how the past continues to influence our present world.
Every lesson is interactive, discussion-driven, and reflective. I encourage learners to ask questions, share insights, and think critically about what they discover. I use visuals, short readings, and thought-provoking activities to make learning more engaging and easier to retain.
As a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in Social Studies (Cum Laude), and a TESOL-certified instructor with experience in ESL and Sunday school teaching, I make sure every session is clear, meaningful, and suited to each learner’s pace and interest. My teaching philosophy is simple: when you learn through understanding rather than memorization, History becomes not just a subject to study but a story to live and appreciate.
