I have a background in Clinical Psychology and a strong interest in making psychological concepts understandable through practical, real-life applications. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand not only theoretical concepts but also how psychology operates in everyday life.

I aim to develop students’ knowledge of psychological disorders, their symptoms, causes, risk factors, and evidence-based treatment approaches. Students will learn to distinguish between common emotional experiences and clinically significant symptoms while understanding the importance of professional assessment and diagnosis.

My teaching covers fundamental psychological concepts, human behaviour, personality, emotions, stress management, mental health awareness, counselling principles, psychological assessment, and therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I use real-life scenarios, case-based discussions, practical examples, and interactive activities to explain how psychological theories relate to human behaviour. These activities are educational and do not replace supervised clinical practice.

I have experience teaching students in government schools and contributing to the development of wellness programmes. These experiences have helped me strengthen my communication, student engagement, psychoeducation, and mental health awareness skills. I aim to create an approachable learning environment where students can ask questions, analyse situations, and develop critical thinking.

My specific teaching skills include simplifying complex psychological theories, explaining psychological disorders and their presentations, introducing basic counselling techniques, promoting emotional awareness, and connecting academic knowledge with practical situations.

My goal is to help students build a strong foundation in psychology through interactive, meaningful, and application-oriented learning, preparing them to understand human behaviour with greater clarity, empathy, and scientific reasoning.
