Jayden Graham-Douglas

My name is Jayden, and I am an enthusiastic French tutor dedicated to helping students enjoy learning the language while achieving excellent academic results. Having attended a French school from a young age, I developed a strong foundation in French and have continued to excel throughout my education, achieving an A* in Common Entrance, a Grade 9 at GCSE, and currently being predicted an A* at A Level.

My lessons are personalised to each student’s age, ability, and goals. Whether you are preparing for GCSEs, building confidence in speaking, or simply looking to improve your French, I create engaging and structured lessons that focus on vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and conversation. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable, so I encourage questions and create a positive, supportive environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process.

As a young tutor, I understand the current curriculum and exam techniques because I have recently studied them myself. This allows me to explain difficult topics in a clear and relatable way while sharing effective revision strategies that genuinely work. My age also helps me connect with younger students, making lessons enjoyable, interactive, and easy to follow.

Every lesson is carefully planned to suit the individual student, combining practice activities, exam-style questions where appropriate, and regular feedback to track progress. My aim is not only to help students achieve top grades but also to build their confidence and inspire a lasting interest in the French language.
