I’m currently studying English at university and I studied English Literature at both GCSE and A-level (and benefited from tutoring myself), so I understand the challenges students face with essays, analysis and exam preparation.

Through my own studies, I’ve developed a strong understanding of literary analysis, essay writing, and how to approach exam questions effectively. I enjoy helping students build confidence in their ideas and learn how to clearly express them in their writing.

I offer support for GCSE and A-Level English Literature, including:
- Essay structure and argument development
- Understanding themes, characters, and context
- Close analysis of texts and quotations
- Exam preparation and revision strategies


My teaching style is patient, supportive and tailored to each student, focusing on building both confidence and strong analytical skills. I am happy to work with parents as well to create a personalised plan with checks in to ensure your child is on track.

As a current English student myself, I also bring up to date academic insight and a fresh perspective in studying literature, which helps makes lessons engaging and accessible.
