What to Expect in My Lessons

Every session is designed to be highly interactive, supportive, and entirely tailored to your/child's individual goals. Because I am currently navigating or have navigated the exact same curriculum, I don’t just teach the theory—I teach the specific strategies and mindsets needed to master the material and score top marks.

Lesson Format & Structure
My standard 60-minute sessions are highly organised to maximise productivity without feeling overwhelming. A typical lesson follows a proven three-step approach:

The Warm-Up (10 mins): I review previous material or address any specific questions from your school week to clear up immediate doubts.
Core Concept Breakdown (25 mins): We tackle a new topic using clear, logical steps. I will break down the formulas together until the logic behind them clicks.
Exam-Style Application (25 mins) We apply what you’ve learned directly to actual past-paper questions, focusing on exam technique, timing, and learning how to spot the common "tricks" examiners use.


Lesson Dynamics & Environment

A collaborative, pressure-free space. I believe the absolute best way to learn maths is to make mistakes safely. My lessons are encouraging and focused. I adapt entirely to your pace—if an explanation isn't working, we pivot and try another angle. You will always leave each session with clear, annotated notes and a few targeted practice problems to keep your skills sharp.
