I am a calm, reassuring and patient tutor, particularly when working with students who may be struggling or lacking confidence. I am committed to finding alternative approaches and explanations wherever possible to help learners understand and progress.

I stared work as an SEN Teaching assistant in a Primary School which I did for more than 5 years, before taking on a slightly different role in one-to-one Alternative provision (Mostly Secondary using a mix of Functional Skills and GCSE curriculums
I have bee n home tutor since 2011, mostly in the students homes. prior to Covid, But most of it has moved online now.
I tend to begin with Mocks or past paper assessments to seek out any holes in students learning, before commencing with topic sessions.
I can do this independently, or offer homework support.
