Advert description
Since 2011 my primary occupation has been as a tutor within Primary and alternative provision, predominantly at secondary level. Alongside this, I also work as an evening home tutor, supporting students across a wide range of abilities.
I am a calm, reassuring and patient tutor, particularly when working with students who may be struggling or lacking confidence. I am committed to finding alternative approaches and explanations wherever possible to help learners understand and progress. I have found this flexibility and persistence especially valuable in alternative provision and one-to-one settings.
Full details of my employment history, qualifications and vocational interests can be found in my CV (Available on request). I am most comfortable working with KS2–KS3 students, though I also have experience supporting lower-ability KS4 learners whose needs are best met through Foundation Level GCSE or Functional Skills pathways.
I can also forward references on request
I hold a Fully Enhanced DBS & A Foundation Degree in Education & Learning Support
