My approach is based on what the students' needs are; this is called a needs analysis, a candid interview, were we exchange ideas and establish a rapport. The idea is to inquire what their needs are, and how the student will clarify them, either through worksheets, clippings, etc., i can establish where their trouble is and how we both move forward. How they express themselves is already being assessed. I taught evening classes in business german at begiiners level for the adult college in Martinez in california, USA.

The next stage is to assess where the student's level is, eg, pre-intermediate-post intermediate or advanced level. This is accomplished by testing their work level or task knowledge through listening, reading, and speaking, where I can see what needs improvement. EG> pronunciation-how they pick up prose, how they complete tasks online {voIP] can they understand the hidden nuances of the english language, that are not always obviuos to non-natives.

Finally to the payment, where the first lesson is free, and following lessons are between fifteen and twenty BPS per hour thereafter. Dollars are also accepted at the correct exchange.

Homework is where the real challegnes are, and training the student to approach each lesson like a college semester pays dividends. i wish every student the very best of this journey and if they wish to pick up a smattering of german also, I can accomodate that.
