I do not believe one size fits all in language learning. I was in Peace Corps in Thailand and I am myself fluent in Thai language.I did not do well with a method called the "silent" method because it required full immersion in the language and no real traditional methods of helping such as giving examples to understand a concept. It was not the fault of the teachers, they had their reasons for doing things with us. I found after initial language training when I could work with a tutor, I did much better, because they could adapt to my individual needs.
I believe that is my strength in helping people with English. I can adapt to your needs and try to learn what you main goals are for lessons with me. So after an initial conversation or two. I believe I can them develop and adapt lessons that will fit your needs.
