Bonjour ! My lessons are designed to be engaging and enjoyable, as I believe that language learning works best when it feels fun rather than like a chore. Each session is structured but flexible: we usually begin with a short warm-up to get into French mode, then move into focused activities that balance conversation, grammar, and vocabulary. I always take into account the areas you feel least confident about, so your input plays an important role in shaping what we cover together.
Doing your school assigned homework is part of the process, we’ll review it together and allow ourselves to go beyond what school expects from you (that’s where you get the extra point!). That way, practice outside of class directly feeds into progress in class. I also like to bring in real-world material, from French news and podcasts to short texts and cultural references, to make the language feel alive and relevant.
My experience teaching students of different levels has taught me that every learner needs a different balance of structure and freedom. My role is to guide you, correct you constructively, and give you the confidence to use French in everyday situations.
Above all, my goal is to create an atmosphere where you feel comfortable experimenting with the language, making mistakes, and gradually building both fluency and cultural understanding rather than simply accumulating grammatical rules.
