I have worked as an English teacher to speakers of other languages for almost 20 years. I've worked in many countries overseas for the British Council and private language schools in Sri Lanka, Malta and Romania. I have also managed teaching centres both here in the UK as well as in Malta.

I have taught students from 6 - 80 years! All levels from absolute beginner to Proficiency level. I have mainly taught face to face in the classroom, but I have taught online and one-to-one over the past 5 years.

I pride myself on establishing my learners' needs and creating a plan to enable them to reach their goals. I believe all skills are important when studying English; working with me you will work first and foremost on speaking, grammar, and vocabulary but you will also work on reading and listening skills too.

I taken students through exams such as IELTS, FCE (first), CAE (Advanced), CPE (Proficiency). I also have experience of working with students on their TOEIC and TOEFL exams.

I absolutely love what I do! Teaching is such a gift - meeting interesting people, seeing them progress and develop their skills - it's so important to me. I pride myself on helping to increase a learner's confidence when using English and to help them achieve their aims.
