Hi there! I'm Jack and I'm from Scotland, near Glasgow. I have a first-class degree from the University of Glasgow in French and I also speak Mandarin, Spanish, and a little bit of Farsi.
I am ideal for students who are studying GSCEs and A Levels/National 5s and Higher who are looking to improve their grades and find ways to better understand the French language. I am also a good option for adults that are looking to improve their understanding of French grammar and having a better overall grasp of the language.
My lessons will be tailored to your needs. Think of me like a personal trainer for French; if you need help with homework or you want to improve your pronunciation, I will make sure lessons are tailored to those needs.
I like to find common interests, such as sports, politics, entertainment etc. to help you remember what you've learned more easily. I find that if you have a genuine interest in the topic you're learning about, you'll learn much faster.
As someone who has learned/is learning six foreign languages, I have a very good understanding of what works and what doesn't. So, I will share you with all my best tips and put you on a plan to help you reach peak French fitness. This may include homework exercises, daily messages in French that are marked and the use of games/TV/films to give you a comprehensive education.
Last but not least, I am a friendly and open-minded person, and I hope that our classes will be relaxed and a bit of fun!
