Hi! I'm Izzy, a second-year Spanish student in Manchester. I would love to tutor your child!

My lessons are interactive, flexible, and designed to build students' confidence. I will begin our time together by identifying the areas you’d like to improve - whether that’s grammar, vocabulary, speaking practice, or exam technique - and then tailor each session to your needs. Lessons combine conversation, exercises, past paper practice, and engaging activities to make learning more enjoyable.

Having recently completed A Level Spanish myself, achieving an A grade, I understand exactly what examiners are looking for and I can share practical strategies to boost your grades. I know first-hand how stressful language exams can be, so I focus not only on developing knowledge but also on your confidence for the exams, helping you learn how to approach translations and writing tasks effectively and express your ideas and complete exam questions under pressure.

My goal is to keep the lessons positive, supportive, and encouraging, creating a space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and taking risks in your Spanish. I believe that mistakes are one of the best ways to learn, and I want my students to feel proud of their progress, no matter their starting point.

In addition to exam preparation, I can help you practise conversational Spanish for travel, work, or everyday conversation. Whether you want structured revision sessions with clear goals or more relaxed lessons focused on language confidence, I can adapt my style to suit you. My aim is always to make Spanish feel accessible, enjoyable, and relevant to your personal goals.
