Isobel Holliday

Hi! I’m Izzy, a Biological Sciences student at the University of Birmingham, and I’ve been tutoring students of different ages and abilities in Biology, Maths and Economics. I know that sometimes a topic just doesn’t click straight away, so my aim is to make lessons relaxed, friendly and focused on finding an explanation that works for you. I’m very specification-focused, so we’ll make sure you understand the content you actually need to know, while also building your confidence in applying it to exam questions. I achieved a 9 in GCSE biology, a A* in a-level biology, and I am currently achieving a First in Biology at university, so I can share the revision techniques and exam strategies that have worked for me too. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at your own pace!
