My lessons are designed for students aged 7 and above, spanning primary learners building their foundations all the way through to GCSE students preparing for exams. I currently tutor Maths and English to two students aged 7 and 11, and my experience working with children from Moroccan, British, French, Nigerian-Angolan, Dutch and American backgrounds has given me the ability to adapt my communication style and approach to suit any learner. Every session I deliver is structured, purposeful and tailored to the individual, I never use a one-size-fits-all method, because I believe every child learns differently and deserves a lesson built around them.
In Maths and English, I focus on building genuine understanding rather than surface-level memorisation, using real-life examples, written feedback and step-by-step explanation to ensure each concept is locked in before we progress. For the sciences, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, I take a visual and logical approach, breaking complex topics into clear, digestible sections and placing strong emphasis on scientific vocabulary and exam technique, as these are the areas where students most commonly lose marks. In Arabic, I create a warm and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable whether they are complete beginners, heritage speakers, or working towards a formal qualification. And in Business, I bring something most tutors cannot, real entrepreneurial experience. Having co-founded Cinnamon Infused Hibiscus and generated £450+ in revenue within four months, I connect textbook theory directly to real-world decisions, making the subject engaging and immediately relevant.
What sets me apart is that I have walked the same path my students are on and I did it early. I completed seven GCSEs a full year ahead of schedule, achieving grades 7, 8 and 9 across English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Arabic, Maths, Physics and Business. That experience gives me a genuine understanding of the pressure students face and exactly where the curriculum gets difficult. I know how to spot the gaps, how to rebuild confidence and how to push a capable student to reach their full potential. My lessons typically follow a consistent format, a short recap to reinforce previous learning, new content introduced through clear explanation and examples, followed by practice questions and feedback. This rhythm helps students feel settled, focused and able to track their own progress over time.
Whether your child needs to catch up, keep up or get ahead, I bring patience, structure and real academic credibility to every session. I am passionate about working with young people and committed to making every subject feel accessible, interesting and achievable, regardless of where a student is starting from.
