My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and ability. I focus on building a strong understanding of the fundamentals, while also helping students develop confidence in tackling unfamiliar problems.

Lessons are interactive and usually involve a combination of explaining concepts, working through examples together, and giving students the opportunity to attempt questions independently. I adapt the pace and difficulty depending on the student, and I’m happy to focus on specific topics they are struggling with or provide broader support across the curriculum.

I have a strong background in Mathematics, having studied Maths and Further Maths at A-Level, and I enjoy making difficult topics simpler and more approachable. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or simply wants to improve their mathematical skills, I aim to make every lesson productive, encouraging and engaging.

I usually build lessons off of exam question practise and going through topics in depth for fundamental understanding. I also encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and explain their thinking, as this helps identify exactly where they may be struggling. For exam preparation, I can provide practice questions and help students improve their problem-solving techniques, time management and ability to understand what a question is asking. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I can teach both primary and secondary school students, including support with homework, schoolwork and preparation for GCSE-style mathematics.
