My lessons are friendly, interactive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on making Maths easier to understand rather than simply memorising formulas or solutions.

I’ll identify the topics or questions the student is struggling with and assess their current understanding. I’ll then explain the concepts step-by-step, using clear examples before working through questions together. As the student becomes more confident, I’ll encourage them to tackle questions independently while providing guidance whenever needed.

For exam preparation, I can also focus on Edexcel IGCSE exam technique, including past-paper questions, identifying common mistakes, managing time and understanding how to structure answers to maximise marks.

Having achieved a Grade 9 in Edexcel IGCSE Maths and an A* in Edexcel A-level Maths, I have recently experienced these exams myself and understand the areas students often find challenging. I’ll use that experience to help students build both their mathematical understanding and their confidence.
