My teaching style is fully interactive and I help you make progress through clear explanations, modelling, practice opportunities and constructive feedback. I am flexible and can complement any textbook with supporting materials and adapt them to your individual level and needs. I have extensive experience using Taylor’s textbooks to consolidate the teaching of language and routinely create extensive practice and assessment resources to support the teaching of literature.
I have served as Setter and Principal Examiner with OCR for ten years and developed a thorough knowledge of the OCR public examination specifications. I have expertise teaching all examinable units and set text options in Greek and Latin, but my primary loves are Greek language, epic, philosophy and tragedy. I have led residential trips to Greece and love bringing the ancient sites to life through story telling and inspiring my students with the eternal questions that this awesome civilisation asked.
