Inusha Sewwandi Chandrasena Weerappuli Hewage

An as English as a Foreign Language tutor, I have 6 years of experience. I have taught students of different age groups and different levels of competencies. I started my career as an Assistant Teacher and worked with students of age 5 to 15. During my career as an Assistant Lecturer, I have taught English as a Foreign Language for undergraduate students. I have experience in Teaching English for academic purposes and Teaching English for Occupational Purposes as well.
In addition, I hold a Diploma in Teaching English, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in English, a Master of Education Degree and Cambridge Level 5 CELTA.
With my knowledge and experience, I design my lessons to fulfil the student's language requirement. I never let my lessons to be boring and I always make sure the students enjoy learning English.
Futhermore, I focus on English grammar and design my lessons to improve all four skills; Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. I believe that it is important to have engaging activities to learn a new language. Therefore, in my classes, I design lessons to maximize the student engagement. In addition, I conduct monthly tests to check the knowledge of students and to keep a track on their progress. I never forget to provide the feedback for the students after assessments.
For the students who want to start learning English from the begining, I design easy and effective lessons to help them start their English language learning journey.
Despite of the fluency level and the age, I create English lessons suitable for their requirement.
