Hey! How's it going? My name is Ilya, and Im here to help you gain the necessary skills you need in the English language. I am a 20 year old university Acting student studying in Buckinghamshire. I am currently on my second year. I have experience teaching English as a second language to students aged from 9 to 17. I can also speak fluent Russian and intermediate level Mandarin. I can help with anything from developing your vocabulary and grammar, to writing creative and academic essays. I can also help with IB (International Baccalauriate) coursework, as I am an IB Diploma Program graduate (cohort of May 2021). Apart from advanced subject knowledge, my IB background has given me a variety of analytical and critical-thinking skills, which I always employ in my tutoring sessions and daily life. My tutoring style is casual and engaging, which is ideal for students who get bored easily or have anxiety. I put a lot of emphasis on ice-breaking, as it allows for a more trustfull and effective student-tutor relationship. I have many interests in fields such as sports, technology, film, history, arts, games, comedy, and food. Although I am of Russian descent, but was born in United Arab Emirates. For the past 10 years, me and my family has been residing in Taiwan.
