Ihsen El Feki

I am a native French speaker who has lived and studied in France, giving me a strong understanding of both everyday French and the academic expectations of the French education system. I achieved 20/20 in both the written and oral French Baccalaureate exams, allowing me to share effective methods to improve grammar, vocabulary, writing skills, and oral expression.

My lessons are personalised depending on each student’s age, level, and objectives. For primary school students, I focus on building strong foundations through interactive activities, reading exercises, vocabulary games, and conversation practice to make French enjoyable and engaging. For secondary school students, I can help with more advanced work such as essay writing, text analysis, grammar, literature, exam preparation, and developing confidence in speaking and writing.

A typical lesson begins with a review of previous material and a discussion to identify areas for improvement. We then work on a specific skill through explanations, exercises, and practical examples before finishing with speaking practice and a short summary of what has been learned. I adapt my teaching style to ensure students progress at their own pace while developing independence. Each lesson also includes targeted activities based on the student’s needs, such as correcting mistakes, expanding vocabulary, practising pronunciation, and applying concepts through real-life situations. I provide feedback and clear goals so students can track their improvement over time.

I also have experience working with children as a U12 tennis assistant coach, where I teach and motivate young players. This experience has helped me develop patience, communication skills, and the ability to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
