Dedicated & Experienced qualified level 6 Careers Leader, and former member of the C+K Careers ‘Quality in Careers Standard steering group’.
Over the number of years, I have developed excellent partnerships with a wide range of Businesses and Higher Education institutions who provide a wealth of support as well as careers activities across the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) and Green Careers spectrum.
I have had the opportunity to work across all curriculum areas, with progress leaders and PSHE coordinator to implement successful careers programmes and initiatives for the school and sixth form college.
Delivered targeted careers advice to post-16 students, facilitating employer engagement and organising high-quality work experience placements to support progression into employment, education, or training. Recently gained experience in a Higher Education environment, supporting graduates with tailored careers advice, employability skills, and guidance to secure employment opportunities
From I was seconded to Kirklees LEA as the Aim Higher Project Officer, which led to development work with a range of Employers and Higher Education providers. The strength of these connections and maintenance of these relationships have consequently supported and become embedded in our careers programme.
My experience has continued to support stuents om gaining sucessfull carers.
