1. Information about my teaching style and how I run my lessons
My teaching style is engaging, structured, and child-centred. I focus on making Maths and Chemistry simple, interactive, and enjoyable for mainstream primary and secondary students. I break complex topics into small, manageable steps and use real-life examples to help children understand concepts clearly.
I begin lessons with a quick recap of previous learning, followed by clear explanations, guided practice, and independent tasks to build confidence. I use visual aids, practical examples, questioning techniques, and regular feedback to ensure understanding. I also adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles, helping each child progress at their own pace while developing problem-solving skills and exam confidence.
My aim is to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to achieve their best.
