Hugo Salvat

My name is Hugo Salvat, i'm 25 years old and i came from France. I grew up in the Haute-Savoie region of France in the town of Evian-les-bains in the heart of the Alps, which is world famous for the mineral water of the same name. I currently live in Berlin, Germany. During my studies I had the chance to study in England at the University of West London to improve my English. I am a very sociable person, who likes to listen to others and to exchange ideas. I have often lived in an English-speaking environment for long periods of time, especially in a flat with other students.
I have a Master's degree in Marketing and Communication and have spent over 20 years in the school and university system. I have acquired a wide range of skills which I would be delighted to share with learners. My mother having worked for 20 years as a school teacher I have always been close to the pedagogical aspect.

As a learner of other languages myself (German and Russian) I am aware of the difficulties that learners experience when discovering a new language. Nevertheless, I can adapt to all types of students' profiles by proposing fun and stimulating exercises that highlight the students' abilities. I speak French, English and Spanish myself and can easily switch from one language to another to explain the specificities.

Course outline for A1 level students:

-I introduce myself in French and help the students to do the same with simple vocabulary words
-Presentation of the theme of the day (weather / sport / French cuisine / family and friends)
-Presentation of different (adjectives / vocabulary words / verbs) related to the theme of the day
-The course materials are sent to the students after the course so that they can practise even outside the course.
