Past papers, active recall and exam-style questions form the core of my teaching to ensure that skills and knowledge are properly consolidated. Consistent accumulation of vocabulary, tested every session, will be important in expanding the students' ability to express themselves in their target language. I also encourage students to explore their passions and interests, where these intersect with the language; for example, listening to French music, reading in French, or watching French films. I strongly believe that learning a language can and should be a fun experience, and I hope to balance this with the requirements of the student's syllabus.
