Hrishi Jones

I studied French in school since I was very young, contuining with it until I completed secondary education. It is a beautiful language and I hope I can share my passion for it with other people. Learning a new language opens so many doors in life, and allows you to understand the world so much better. I have had experience functioning in France on my own due to school trips over the years, as well as my own holidays. I have also had experience with being on the other end of private lessons, so I have sympathy on how daunting learning a new language can be.

I will focus on the speaking aspect of it in the lessons, with specialisation of different aspects (grammar, vocabulary, etc.) based on what the student wants and needs to focus on. Speaking is often the hardest part of learning a new language, despite it being the most important, so I will emphasise communication in my lessons. My content will be shaped largely on the interests of the student, as I find speaking about stuff one likes or is interested in makes it far easier and more fun. I am aiming it for beginner to intermediary levels, however advanced intermediary I am also able to do.

In sum, the lessons will be shaped by the ideas of the student entirely, with my own direction as a teacher. I will aim to develop and nourish the student's desire to learn French, and hopefully launch them into a new aspect of life they hadn't previously experienced.
