My lessons are relaxed and built around what you need. I usually start with a quick check-in to see how confident you’re feeling, then we break the topic down into clear steps. I use examples, questions, and short activities so you’re never just sitting and listening. I’ve taught a mix of students through mentoring, youth projects, and university roles, so I’m used to adapting my style depending on how you learn best. By the end of each session, you’ll leave with something concrete: a skill, a technique, or a clearer understanding than you came in with.
I also make sure the learning environment feels supportive and low-pressure. If something doesn’t make sense the first time, we try a different angle. real-life examples, or talking it through together. I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and take the lead when they feel ready. My aim is to build confidence as much as knowledge, so I check in regularly and celebrate progress, no matter how small. Over time, students usually find they become more independent, more willing to challenge themselves, and more comfortable tackling topics that once felt intimidating. I want every student to feel capable, heard, and genuinely supported throughout the learning process.
In addition, I also try to make each lesson feel genuinely collaborative, so you’re not just being taught at but learning with me. Over time, this approach helps students build trust in their own abilities and feel more comfortable tackling new challenges independently.
