I have been a teacher for over 10 years and have an enhanced DBS. I hold BA Hons in Modern Language Studies (Spanish and German) and specialise in Spanish, which I have taught up to A Level; however I have a wide range of experience teaching a number of subjects from schools with high deprivation to grammar schools. I have been a Higher Tier Speaking and Writing examiner for both AQA and Edexcel examination boards, including the new specification examinations this year. I am also a qualified SENDCo so have vast experience working with SEND students with varying needs and can tailor my tutoring and teaching styles to get the best out of a student.

Once I have ascertained your starting point, or discussed the areas that you are finding most challenging, I support you with lots of practice in reading, writing, speaking and listening, including elements such as speak aloud tasks, Role Play and Photo descriptions. I focus on grammar, pronunciation and speaking naturally, helping students understand and practice the elements that will promote fluidity and allow them to obtain a passing grade.

I am based in Lancashire and can provide nationwide online or local face to face tuition. I am available for tuition during the evenings, but can organise tuition during the weekend or the school holidays - just ask!
