Hetti Harper

I am a multifaceted vocalist, working professionally on projects ranging from Classical and Cinematic to Rap to Garage to Metal and I have a deep desire to see others grow in confidence in their musical ability and discover the freedom of expression that comes from understanding how we are able to use our voices. I do also have a special love for Rock vocals as I have a personal recording project in that genre!

As an eleven year old I received a scholarship to study Classical Vocals, where I achieved a Grade 8 certificate and I was immediately thrown into the area of studying and performing Choral Music as well, so I very much understand the process and challenges of learning and growing and finding yourself.

I also have a strong interest in proper vocal technique and teaching from that foundation, as I have found this to be one of the most important pieces of knowledge on my journey as an vocalist and performer; protecting and nurturing the instrument that is the vocal cords.

As a songwriter and composer, I have learnt the power of melody and harmony and believe the voice to be one of the most versatile creative resources we have access to and so I have a real desire to see others step out in creating and discovering the uniqueness of each individual voice.

I want to see you use the time we have to focus on things that really excite you, like certain genres or vocal skills that you admire in other singers, and work towards a personal goal; whether that be performing, songwriting or just gaining confidence in yourself.
