I don't believe there's a ceiling on what a student can achieve, only on how much they believe they can. That belief shapes everything about how I tutor.
I'm Heba, a Maths and Science tutor specialising in Physics, tutoring since November 2024 both 1-1 and in groups across GCSE and A-Level. I achieved top grades across my GCSEs, including 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and I'm predicted top grades in Physics, Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry at A-Level.
My approach centres on building real understanding, not just memorising steps. I break down concepts properly so students can apply what they've learned to unfamiliar exam questions, not just ones they've already seen. I also teach exam technique directly, including how to read questions carefully, think like a mark scheme, and maximise marks even on the toughest, most unfamiliar problems.
Alongside 1-1 tutoring, I've created GCSE Physics learning packs aligned across exam boards, and I currently run weekly coding sessions for Years 1 to 6 at Code Ninjas, so I'm used to adapting my teaching style depending on who's actually in front of me, whether that's a young child new to coding or an A-Level student under exam pressure.
Outside of tutoring, I'm genuinely drawn to problem-solving. I've competed in the British Physics Olympiad and Chemistry Olympiad, and led a team of Year 12 and 13 students through Ritangle, a national maths competition. That same curiosity is what makes me a good tutor: I enjoy working through something confusing until it clicks, and I love helping students get there too.
