A-Level Maths Tutor — from someone who knows exactly what these exams demand

I've just recently my A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, predicted top grades, so I know first-hand exactly what these exams demand, and have a good knowledge of the specification. I've been tutoring since November 2024, both 1-1 and in groups.

My approach is built on one belief: there's no ceiling on what a student can achieve, only on how much they believe they can. In lessons, I focus on building genuine understanding of core concepts, then move into targeted exam-style practice on the harder, multi-step questions, the ones that trip most students up. I teach students how to break unfamiliar problems down methodically and how to maximise marks even when a question looks nothing like anything they've seen before.

I also led a team through Ritangle, a national maths problem-solving competition, so I enjoy tackling genuinely challenging maths, not just exam content.
