I am 18 years old and have recently finished my A-levels at the local grammar school. In the autumn, I hope to go to Cambridge University to study History and Modern Languages. Alongside History and German, I really enjoyed Maths A-level and am ready to offer support to anybody who needs online maths tutoring, whether that be for the 11+, GCSE or anything in between. I have had widespread experience in teaching, from one-to-one tutoring at school to teaching people how to sail at my sailing club as a qualified dinghy instructor. Having successfully sat the 11+ and achieved a grade 8 at GCSE maths, I believe I have the experience to help anyone who is struggling in these areas, and can tailor my lessons to any specific problems or requirements.

My hours are flexible and I am available for 1-2 hour lessons at any point during the week. Teaching sailing to children from ages 6-15 of all abilities and personalities has given me invaluable skills of patience, understanding and communication, and in recent years I've been able to transfer these skills to one-to-one tutoring at school. I'm excited to be able to help more people fulfil their potential and achieve fantastic results. From my own experience of A-level and GCSE maths, having one-to-one conversations with teachers was vital in providing not only clarity but support and encouragement, and this is what I hope to achieve for any potential students.
