I have been working as a high school math teacher for more than 11 years at the American International School in Gaza.I teach many subjects such as Algebra I , Algebra II , Pre-Caclulus , Geometry and Calculus. I always try to connect mathematics with real world problems because I believe that this approach could be the most effective way to teach mathematics and to understand the benefits of learning it.
my class will be fun because it includes many activities and there are many worksheets to solve . In addition , there will be homeworks and projects to do . Using technology is essential in my class , my students will be able to use website or applications such as desmos , symbolab to solve questions . Also International Students who want to take SAT tests , I have a good experience in SAT (Math part) because I work as a SAT tutor for 8 years at AMIDEAST center in Gaza and I helped many students to get high scores in Math section which gave them the opportunity to get scholarships and studying abroad .
At the end I think I can help secondary school students to improve their mathematical skills and get high marks at their schools .
