Harriet Williams

Hi everyone! I’m an experienced Early Years and Primary educator based in Qatar, with experience working with children across a range of ages and abilities. I have worked in the UK and Dubai before finding my forever home in Qatar. I have worked with many different ages and nationalities over my career and love learning from my students too!

I particularly enjoy helping children develop their reading skills and have experience supporting children through the Read Write Inc. phonics programme, building confidence with phonics, blending, decoding and early reading in a fun and engaging way. There is nothing I love more than seeing the confidence grow within a child as their reading abilities increase.

My lessons are fun, interactive and tailored to each child, because I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged and genuinely enjoy what they are doing. I aim to make every lesson positive and engaging while helping children make real progress. It is important to me to know each child's interests so I am able to integrate this into our lesson - children learn best when they are enjoying themselves!

I have experience teaching both Early Years and Primary-aged children, and I’m happy to adapt my approach to suit your child’s individual needs and learning style.
