I’ve been passionate about tutoring for several years, starting back in school by helping my friends and classmates understand challenging Maths and Business concepts. I found I really enjoyed explaining topics in a clear, step-by-step way, and seeing others improve and gain confidence was very rewarding. During this time, I also worked as a peer mentor, supporting students with their studies, helping them tackle difficult questions, and guiding them to develop better study habits and effective learning strategies.

Personally, I know what it’s like to struggle with Maths. I made a significant comeback, improving from a foundation-level Maths score of 2 to achieving a 7 in GCSE Maths, all through effective revision techniques, consistent practice, and exam-focused learning. This experience taught me how to approach learning strategically, and I now use these methods to help my students succeed.

Since then, I’ve taken tutoring to a professional level, helping students achieve their best in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Business. My lessons are structured and focused: I start by thoroughly going through the content so students fully understand the theory, and then we work through a large number of exam-style questions to ensure they are prepared for any type of problem that might appear in their exams. I also provide exam strategies, tips, and guidance on common mistakes, helping students improve not just their knowledge but also their confidence, resilience, and exam technique.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, making the learning experience interactive, engaging, and highly effective. My goal is to help students build a deep understanding, achieve high marks, develop strong study habits, and cultivate a genuine love for learning. Over the years, tutoring has grown from helping friends in school to now being my professional passion, and I genuinely enjoy seeing students succeed, gain confidence, and feel proud of their progress.
