My lessons are structured clearly with a starter, middle and end. I will always include exam practice which I will mark and provide feedback. I will also create model answers with my students, carefully explaining why the answer has hit the mark scheme successfully. My lessons are packed with knowledge that goes beyond what is expected of the average student because this is what is needed for students to achieve the higher grades. I have a large bank of resources that I expect my students to engage with. This encouraged students to do extra reading around the subject and supplements what we are doing in each lesson. I am constantly assessing my students for how well they have understood the content and will only progress until they feel confident with the previously taught content. This way, students do not feel overwhelmed, rather they are supported and the lesson is tailored to fit them.
