So far I have had the privilege of tutoring 5 GCSE students online, conducting my lessons via zoom or teams. I structured our learning in 2 parts: understanding the content and applying the knowledge. To help explain concepts, I went through detailed notes with my students and took my time to answer any questions they had, and to then solidify their understanding, we completed exam questions, past papers and quizzes together, highlighting weaker areas and then focusing on them more. I gave them the opportunity to complete questions timed and compared their answers to model answers to enhance exam technique and strategy.
