Hadiza Mijinyawa

My name is Hadiza Mijinyawa. I am a PhD researcher at the University of Portsmouth and a PTDF scholar, building AI to help design solar mini-grids for rural Nigerian villages. I hold a First Class MSc in Computer Science and have published research in IEEE Xplore on computational optimisation.

I teach computer science and the mathematics that computer science students need, including discrete maths, linear algebra, differential equations, Python, data structures, algorithms, and basic AI/ML. My lessons are adapted to you. I break down hard topics into small, clear steps, and we work through examples and exercises together. You will not just watch me explain; you will solve problems with me guiding you.
