My lessons are fully tailored to each student, taking into account their individual learning style, strengths, areas for improvement and goals. Conducted entirely online, lessons are interactive and student-focused, combining clear explanations with guided practice, discussion and questions. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.
I have extensive experience working with students of different ages and abilities. As an English and Mathematics tutor at NumberWorks’nWords, I taught students aged 5–16 and supported preparation for the 11+, GCSE and A-Level examinations, adapting lesson plans to individual needs. I also provided two years of academic mentoring across Maths, English, Spanish, Physics and Chemistry, helping one student progress from an Achieved to an Excellence average. As a DebateMate mentor, I help students develop their communication, critical thinking and confidence.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging and adaptable. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging and when they understand not only what the answer is, but why. I therefore encourage students to think independently, explain their reasoning and actively participate throughout each session.
Alongside my tutoring experience, I am a Law student at King’s College London and have developed strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills through academic, professional and extracurricular experiences. I am hardworking, approachable and committed to helping each student reach their potential.
