I would have an initial discussion with the student to find out what they are looking for and what skills they would like to learn.
I would then tailor the lessons so that they are interesting to the student, includes lots of discussion and chat and varied. I would also use videos or graphics to make it interesting and then conclude the lesson with the brief for the next one.
