Hi, I'm Amina, an English student at Queen Mary University of London with tutoring experience supporting primary and secondary students.

Many students struggle with English not because they lack ability, but because they haven't been shown how to organise their thoughts. Whether it's a primary school student turning creative ideas into well-structured paragraphs or a GCSE student facing a blank exam page, confidence starts with having a clear structure.

My tutoring is designed to bridge that gap. I specialise in teaching the building blocks of strong writing, reading, and communication in a way that is engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student. For younger learners, I use creative and visual storytelling activities to develop grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and creative writing. For GCSE students, I focus on essay planning, analysis, and exam techniques that help students write clear, well-organised responses.

As someone who completed these exams in my life, I understand the current curriculum and know how to explain English in a relatable and practical way. I also believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual learning styles, whether they need extra support, more challenge, or help preparing for school assessments and exams.

I'm fully DBS verified and passionate about helping students build lasting confidence in English. Together, we'll develop the skills, strategies, and self-belief needed to succeed both in the classroom and beyond.
