Gilda Zamora

¡Hola! I'm Gilda, a native Spanish tutor from Peru with over eight years of teaching experience. I teach children, teenagers and adults at all levels, from complete beginners to GCSE, A-Level and advanced learners.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Barcelona, together with professional teaching qualifications. My background enables me to teach not only the Spanish language but also the rich cultures, customs and linguistic differences across Spain and Latin America.

My lessons are based on the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, which means you will actively use Spanish from the very beginning. Rather than simply memorising vocabulary and grammar, you'll learn to communicate confidently in meaningful, real-life situations. I believe languages are learned by using them, so my lessons encourage interaction, curiosity and active participation.

Every lesson is student-centred, fun and carefully adapted to your goals, interests, learning style and pace. Whether you're preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, learning Spanish for work, travelling, relocating, or simply learning for pleasure, I design lessons that are engaging, practical and motivating.

A typical lesson may include:
