This helps me understand who you are, where you come from and, perhaps gain some insight into what teaching and learning styles are most effective for you. As a tutor, my aim will be getting to know each student. This helps me understand who you are, where you come from and, perhaps gain some insight into what teaching and learning styles are most effective for you. Combining nonlinguistic representation along with a linguistic component, each lesson will benefit all students and not just English language learners. The strategy here is to show as well as tell by the help of pictures, diagrams, etc. The lessons can be either virtual or face to face.
