My lessons are fun and interactive. I use the TPR method and my teaching style is based on encouragement and enhancing engagement with my pupils. I believe learning ay subject should be fun and like to use many different mediums like music, games and small but manageable tasks, in order not to overwhelm students with the content of the lesson. Lessons would be tailored to the individuals needs and abilities and may be in the form of a simple conversation about their hobbies, or an in depth lesson on grammar and punctuation.

Younger pupils are invited to learn the basics with me and lessons may consist of expanding on there vocabulary and learning new words or phrases, at there own speed. Tasks can be given for students to take away with them and complete in there own time and each lesson is tailored to students individually, according there needs and competency.

If children have specific interests or hobbies, then I will also endeavour to include the relevant material in the lesson to keep them engaged, interested and excited to learn. As I mentioned, learning should be an enjoyable process and from my experience I have learned that through keeping the experience light, straight forward and engaging leads to the best results.

I always strive to create an environment where students look forward to there next lesson, ensuring that I work with compassion, trust and honesty.
