I'm a native English speaker and offer friendly and informal Online English as a Second Language and English for Special Purposes tuition to adults. Individual lessons or customised courses are available tailored to your needs. A retired Chartered Engineer, my education includes an Honours degree in electrical systems engineering, with a foundation in electrical, mechanical and information systems science from a science-based university. I am TEFL Level 5 (168 hours) certified to teach English as a foreign language and English for Business, now offering tutoring services after a diverse professional career in the UK and overseas. Tutoring for all levels is available. Though older than many tutors, please don't let that put you off. My wealth of experience in science, engineering, business, IT, technology, project management, general management and life in general is something I'd like to share with you through my love of the English language. I want to help you to enjoy English and what it can offer you in the wider community, as much as I do, with all its intricacies and nuances. Finally, I don't teach anyone under the age of 14. There are others far better at it than me.
